How does it work?

Amino-15 is an advanced hair straightening system that offers long-lasting results for over six months. Suitable for all hair types, the treatment combines state-of-the-art molecular cross-linking technology with a blend of amino acids, ceramides and nourishing ingredients to provide exceptional straightening, conditioning and restorative properties. 
  • Chemical bonds (known as disulphide bonds) between keratin filaments in hair create a pulling force that causes hair to bend and twist, determining its shape.
  • A hot iron straightener can temporarily straighten hair with heat and pressure, but disulphide bonds will return it to its natural shape after just a few days or even hours.
  • Amino-15 forms new bonds that counteract the force exerted by disulphide bonds, keeping hair straight for over 6 months without damaging natural bonds.

The restorative effect

Delving into effects invisible to the naked eye, the electron microscope images below display individual hairs. On the left, noticeably damaged (bleached) hair contrasts with hair treated using ingredients from our product (shown to the right). 

Nourishment and repair

In this image, we see the before and after following a treatment with the carob seed extract used in our products. These biomimetic, plant-derived molecules uniquely repair hair both internally and externally, resulting in stronger hair and sealed cuticles.

Fantastic smoothing

    This innovative blend works by bonding with the weakened proteins in damaged hair, effectively restoring its structure and integrity. It also infuses hair with essential nutrients, enhancing moisture retention and safeguarding against environmental stressors.

  • Sea Buckthorn Oil

    Contains vitamins E and C, as well as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which nourish and strengthen hair.

  • Carob Seed Extract

    A range of amino acids, peptides & molecules are extracted from this nourishing seed. They are imbued into the hair during the straightening process.

  • Ceramide 2

    Ceramide is like a natural "cement" found in hair that seals the hair cuticle, removing frizz caused by lifted hair cuticles.

  • Vitamin E

    Vitamin E is found in many fruits, vegetables & seeds, and is a powerful anti-oxidant. It protects your hair from oxidative damage & free radicals.

  • Coco-Caprylate

    Coco-caprylate is a light and silky emollient, derived from coconuts, that can make your hair feel smoother, softer, and more manageable. It helps to reduce frizz and enhance the performance of other hair care ingredients.
